    Play hall is on the 2nd floor (check lift access); far from transit — easier by car; closed Tuesdays

    Big indoor skatepark with a large transition section and a big street section, obstacles for every level, benches overlooking the park, plus an outdoor park, friendly welcoming staff who treat young kids with respect, great price

    Packed with lots of obstacles so lines cross; afternoon/evening hours

    Probably the cleanest public outdoor park in Hamburg (Eppendorf) with a smooth surface, lots of room and versatility, smaller obstacles for beginners and interesting lines for advanced skaters, a skateboard-only window 6-9pm

    Busy with scooters outside the skate-only hours; no mini-ramp or flat rail

    Huge climbing and bouldering centre with excellent top-rope options (lots of walls, heights and auto-belays), plus lead, outdoor and boulder areas, welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff, 10 min from the S-Bahn; ~9km south

    Busy at weekends but big enough to avoid waits

    Big trampoline park (recently expanded) with lots of different jumping zones and activities for kids and extra-bouncy trampolines for adults, friendly helpful staff who can accommodate English; ~5km east

    Grip socks are compulsory (extra cost); lockers not very secure; bathrooms could be cleaner
