About Kindering
Kindering is a map of places where children are actually welcome: play cafés, playgrounds, pools, sports clubs, classes and days out, in cities across Europe. It is a free iPhone app, and this website carries the same places.
What each place tells you
A listing tells you a place exists. Kindering tells you what the play area actually is, what it costs to get the children into it, and what to watch for. When something would spoil the trip, like a gate that is sometimes locked, a playground that only opens for weekend lunch or a room that gets very loud, the place carries a warning.
Where it covers
Cities go in one at a time, and only once there is enough in a city to be worth opening the app for. See every city, or ask for yours.
What it does not do
- No account, and no sign-in. The places you star stay on your phone.
- No advertising, analytics or tracking of any kind.
- Nothing about your child. There is nowhere to type it.
The privacy policy says exactly what happens to data, and it is short.
Who runs it
Kindering is made by Anton Mladenov, an independent developer. One person reads every email, and a correction to a place already on the map is the most useful one you can send.
