    One of the best climbing gyms in Germany with great, varied route-setting for beginners to intermediate, spotless and well-maintained, a welcoming café and seating area, a phenomenal training section with Kilter and campus boards, table tennis, outstanding staff, cheaper than most; ~5km east

    Smaller than some gyms; can feel spartan; lights go off a bit before official close

    Wonderful children's and youth circus with a lovely atmosphere and dedicated instructors, week-long holiday workshops that end in a proud Friday show (acrobatics, juggling, clowning) and beautifully run children's birthday parties where every child is supported to succeed; ~4km northwest
