    Big trampoline park in Plagwitz with lots of trampolines and things to try, a short safety briefing, rest areas and drinks, more fun with a bigger group, good for birthday parties; ~3km southwest

    No air conditioning (very hot on warm days); grip socks compulsory and only their own brand allowed; pricey; safety briefing could be clearer

    Brilliant climbing hall in a converted old factory (very Leipzig) with serious-height rope and lead routes across all difficulties plus two bouldering sections up high, relaxed friendly atmosphere, sensible pricing, coffee and pizza; ~3km north

    The age of the hall shows — some holds are grimy and a few routes aren't reset often

    Well-loved bouldering gym in Plagwitz with a separate area for young children, boulders changed at a good pace with lots of different styles, a good training area, friendly staff and rental indoor shoes, fair fees; ~3km southwest

    Beautiful, spotless bouldering gym with very creative route-setting, lots of grades so the next level is realistic, thoughtful down-climb jugs, a cozy café inside and exceptionally friendly staff, a lovely welcoming atmosphere; ~4km west

    Skate school with great instructors (like Lydia) who keep an eye on technique and posture and give good tips, beginner courses for kids and adults, students quickly gain confidence, near the Clara-Zetkin-Park

    Wonderful free wildlife park in the south with beautiful forest paths and native animals (deer, wild boar, owls and more), very clean and well-maintained, calm and relaxing, a great family walk, playground on site; ~5km south

    Many animals are at a distance; some enclosures feel small; free car park opposite
